Fried Green Tomatoes Spell

In July, most of us eagerly await the first garden–ripened tomato. Until then, we can satisfy ourselves with the following recipe for fried green tomatoes. Surprisingly, fried green tomatoes are a perfect dish to serve your lover. All the main ingredients are ruled by Venus, the planet of love.

1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. brown sugar
3 medium-sized green tomatoes, thinly sliced¿
1/4 cup butter

With a fork mix the flour, cornmeal, salt, pepper, and sugar in a shallow bowl. Coat the sliced tomatoes well with this mixture. Melt the butter in a frying pan until it sizzles. Fry the tomato slices until brown on each side. Serve as a warm side dish. Your romantic partner will love you for it.
