It's spring, and that means it's time to clean your altar or ritual space. To begin, if the weather permits, open any windows. Next, using a clean cotton cloth, dust your altar and ritual tools. Then place a dish of dried lavender on your altar. Inhale its cleansing and calming scent. Now begin to walk around your space in a clockwise direction. Use your hand or a feather to wave away any negative energies as you say:

Negative energies become dust,
Positive energies remain.
Negative energies, be gone—you must!
Positive energies, this is your domain.

Stop and exhale. Your altar and ritual space are now clean. Enjoy the lavender for as long as you wish, then discard.
