LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Pick a Page

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Witches are always looking for fun new ways to do divination. Tarot cards and reading tea leaves are great tried-and-true traditions, but I think it's fun to try something unconventional to see what we can ascertain from it.

Pull out a random book from your collection and flip to a random page to get your message. This works best with novels or poetry books, but try it with whatever you have lying around. You can pick a book at random for something more exciting, or if you have a novel where you know the theme, go ahead and go with that.

Start by asking yourself a question, or if you want to keep it interesting, just flip to any page! Start at the first paragraph on the page and read until you feel you have enough information. Take some time to see how the question and the message connect. Keep an open mind and get as creative as you'd like with the interpretation. The point is to have fun!
