LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: An Epiphany Meditation

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today is the Christian holiday of Epiphany. Most Western Christian faiths observe this as the day that the Magi visited the baby Jesus. It also marks the day of Jesus's baptism. The word epiphany means a sudden understanding or insight into a matter. This would be a good day to meditate on issues facing you and how you may solve them.

Sit at your altar with pen and paper. Ground and center. Think about what's going on with you. Begin to make a list of these issues, even if it sounds ridiculous. Stop when you feel like it.

Go over the list. Do any solutions come to mind? Leave the list on your altar. Come back to it in a few days.

Go over your list again. Cross out anything that's not important. If you want to, meditate again on important matters as you search for solutions.

Refer to your list from time to time. If you finish working through your list, discard it.
