To charge your spirit to prepare yourself for magic, there are times when you just really need to get in touch with the Earth. This ritual is for those moments. When you won’t be disturbed, go outside. It could be your backyard, a park, or a forested area. Breathe deeply as you ground and center. Then say:

Trees and land, rocks and sand,
Empower me with this command.

Now drop to your knees and place your hands upon the Earth. Smell its rich scent and feel its power entering you. Smell and feel the Earth until you’re almost dizzy. Now you are ready for magic!
