Spell: Wind and Knot Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

This spell is similar to the ones that sailors used to cast to capture the power of the wind in ancient times. When they needed more wind for their sails, they’d untie a knot that they had tied in their sails.

Use this spell when you need to give your spells a boost of energy. You’ll need one square handkerchief or piece of fabric. Go outside on a windy day with your handkerchief or fabric. Hold it up to the sky and say:

Wind that blows across the land,
wind that blows across the sea,
With your mighty power, favor me.

Now quickly tie the handkerchief or fabric into a knot. If you want more knots, repeat the charm. When you cast a spell that needs more power, untie one of your knots as you reach the spell’s climax.
