| Cloves have protective properties in magical spells. Here is a relatively easy and long-lasting charm using cloves. First, soak fifteen or twenty cloves in warm water for one hour. Using a needle, string the cloves on a red thread. You can hang the string in an inconspicuous place, or, alternating the cloves with beads, you can make it into a pretty necklace. Tie the thread and hang it up to dry. It will give an interesting spicy smell to your house, and also ward off evil spirits. |
