Spell: A Recycling Blessing Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Let's be honest: people who are spiritual, magickal, and earthbased should recycle everything they're able to. Even non-spiritual people with an ethical approach to life embrace recycling because it's the right thing to do. Try incorporating this blessing spell into your recycling activities.

The number thirteen is commonly used in Witchcraft because of its lunar associations. Gather thirteen items from your recycling bin. These may include things made of plastic, tin, aluminum, paper, glass, or other materials.

Think about the process of recycling. When these items become transformed into new items, how can you lend a bit of energy to the process? How can you send blessings to the people who will use (and ideally re-recycle) the transformed items?

Using a black permanent marker, write symbols and words of blessings on the items before putting them back into the bin. Empower them with energy and envision the magick rippling out into the world.
