Spell: A Harvest Queen Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

During colonial times, farmers would frequently fashion a human figure out of grain known as the "Harvest Queen," to show their thanks for a bountiful harvest. With this spell, you'll be able to do the same and take part in an age-old custom.
To make your Harvest Queen, you'll need long stems of grasses, grain, perhaps some corn husks, and garden twine. Make your figure anyway you wish. Use the garden twine to tie the plant materials together. The corn husks may be used to fashion a skirt or apron around the bottom of the figure. Use your imagination. As you make the figure, keep in mind how grateful you are for your garden's bounty.
When done, as a gesture of thanks, sprinkle the figure with water. Display the figure in the garden for a few days. Let it dry; in the spring, turn it into the soil.
