Most pain is due to some form of inflammation. To help reduce this inflammation, it is useful to work with energy and color. Close your eyes and visualize red-orange light coming down into you and traveling to the site of the pain to heal the area. After a few minutes of this, shift to ice-blue light, and send it to the site of the pain to offer cool healing to ease the inflammation.
After you have finished sending the energy, sit for a time in quiet meditation and make sure all your muscles are relaxed. The more relaxed you are, the better. This exercise should be repeated often until the pain is gone. |
