Some days it feels like everything is going wrong. Your alarm doesn't wake you up, there is no hot water for your shower, and the coffee maker is on the fritz. You feel like you've been thrown for a loop, or like the world may really be out to get you.
You want to restore some normality and balance to your life. In order to do this, you need a great deal of grounding to get yourself recentered. Find a place where you can sit outside on the ground, up next to a tree if possible. Take a deep breath: as you inhale count to ten, and as you exhale count to ten also. Continue this deep breathing and say to yourself: "Restore my balance, restore my strength. In with the good, out with the bad." Feel your body relaxing and recentering. |
