Meditation helps us visualize what we want to achieve, but the most valuable spell is the one that teaches us about the actual process of new beginnings. Patience is the key word here.
Fill a clay flower pot with a good potting soil. Choose seeds that have a special meaning to you. It doesn't matter whether you use herb, or flower, or even a vegetable seed, the point is to prepare a place for a seed to grow. Plant the seeds, water them well, and place them somewhere they will receive warmth. Yes, the ideal would be in direct sunlight, but you can also put the pot on top of your refrigerator. Have you ever noticed what a warm surface that is? Water the seeds gently each day and watch for the sprouts to start. At some point, you will probably have to "thin" the planting. I know that is hard to do, but this process teaches us that in order for a healthy plant to survive, we must be able to remove some shoots. We should also realize that as we undertake a new project, or a new job, or a new home, or a new partnership, there will be things we'll have to "cut out" in order for our new beginning to flourish and bear fruit. This is a simple lesson-in-life spell you can do anytime to remind yourself of what can become real if you simply nourish and protect your efforts. |
