Incense of the day: Cinnamon Now gardeners are beginning to plant their flower and vegetable gardens. After all your hard work, it's a good idea to protect your garden from pests. Here is a spell that may help without harming any cute but pesky little critters. In a small glass jar, mix about 1/4 cup each of vinegar and olive oil. Add a clove of finely chopped garlic, black pepper, and a dash of cumin. Shake well and let steep for a day. Sprinkle here and there around the edge of the garden plot or borders. End the spell by saying in a strong voice: Creatures of the land And creatures which take flight, This garden is protected Both day and night. So mote it be. Repeat as needed. |
