Spell: Rama Navami

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Lavender
Incense of the day: Clary sage

Today is Rama Navami, the Hindu celebration of the god Rama, who embodies cherished characteristics like courage, kindness, sense of justice and duty, patience, and compassion. This is a good day to consider how much you practice what you preach. Across the top of a yellow sheet of paper turned sideways, make a column for each of the top nine personal characteristics you feel are truly important. In each column, note how you embody this characteristic and specific ways that you can better integrate it. Light sandalwood incense, thank the god Rama for setting such a powerful example, and call upon your deities for their blessings. Imagine how you would look and feel if you truly embodied all nine characteristics. Imagine your life as that person and vow to take the steps necessary to create that. Light a candle to yourself. Begin your journey of becoming that very day.
