POSTED UNDER Moon, Spring

Spell: Spell to Banish Clutter

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Black
Incense of the day: Rue

A waning Moon in early spring-what better time to banish junk? By making the de-cluttering process magical, we have a powerful tool to overcome procrastination and resistance. Do one room or closet at a time. In each, ground and center, smudge with sage, and visualize cleanness and orderliness. Say, "Clutter be gone!" Then get to work. When finished, smudge that spot again, saying, "Clutter is gone and shall not return. So mote it be." You'll be making three piles: "garbage," "donate," and "keep." Things that you're keeping should be put away at once-if they don't have a spot, make one now. Things that you're donating should be handled when the whole house/apartment is done; choose a charity you like, but don't stall over picking one! As for garbage, be firm with yourself-no changing your mind!
