Incense of the day: Dill This is kind of like a Secret Santa game, in that each person in your family or group should pick one person's name from a hat about a week before Thanksgiving. Meditate on the person you chose and call to mind all that you have learned from knowing this person. Then write that person a letter expressing how thankful you are for his or her presence in your life and tell him or her just how much you care. Then, invite everyone over for a Thanksgiving feast. Read your letters at the end of your meal and celebrate with dessert. This exercise can take a bit of courage, particularly if you are not used to freely expressing your feelings. But it opens the heart and throat chakras and deepens the bonds of love in ways you might not expect. |
