Spell: Shadow Work Ritual

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Brown
Incense of the day: Cedar

With its dark watery depths, Scorpio energy stirs our intuition and intensifies hidden desires. This is familiar territory to our descending goddess, Persephone, whose annual surrender to the underworld hones her insight with hard-won wisdom. Let us enter shadow territory with grace and clarity, and call upon the goddess Persephone to guide us through Scorpio's secretive undercurrents.
As Carl Jung wrote: "That which remains unconscious comes to us as fate." We collectively struggle now to understand current events and to incorporate the abrupt alteration to our view of the world, so we should ponder Jung's wise words. May we also take the opportunity offered by the Sun's pass through Scorpio to meditate upon our own shadow. By owning our own dark side we help heal the world.
