The Empress card in the Major Arcana of the Tarot reminds us to hold onto our sovereignty. If we yield our power too much to others, we can lose it. Far too often, we’re not even aware that we’re doing it!

Pull the Empress card from your deck and place it in front of you. Next shuffle the cards and pull three more, placing one to the lower left of the Empress, the second to the lower right, and the third directly below.

The card on the left signifies what or who may be draining you. The card on the right suggests what you need to focus on more in order to stop or prevent that loss. The last card in the center gives the potential outcome of your situation and additional guidance for you.
