| Here's a little spell for blessing an engagement that will also carry over to the wedding. All you need is a bag of birdseed, some scraps of pretty paper, and a pen. You and your betrothed should sit down together with the spell components. Take turns writing down hopes, dreams, and happy wishes for your marriage on little pieces of paper. Fold them up and stuff them into the bag of birdseed. The seed represents potential growth and abundance. When you get married, put the bag out so guests can pelt you with birdseed and blessings. This is not only effective, it's more environmentally friendly than rice.
