LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Magickal Movie Night

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Tally's Electric Theatre, the first motion picture theater in Los Angeles, California, opened on this day in 1902. In honor of both movie magic and Craft magick, it's time for a magickal movie night! Have a magickal friend or two over tonight, and have a viewing of your favorite movie with magickal themes and characters. Don't forget the snacks and treats-ask each guest to bring their favorite. Afterward, have a discussion of the lessons to be learned from the movie's story and how accurate or inaccurate it was to real-life Craft magick. Sometimes movies feature magick that is pleasantly realistic to that which we practice in real life-even if it does take artistic liberties and add a little cinematic sparkle around the edges. Other times the magick featured in movies is nothing like that of real-life Witches. Either way, what is most important tonight is to remember to have fun!
