LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Discover Your Patron Hero

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Many of us regularly work with a patron god or goddess, but how about a patron hero? A personal hero has a story legend, myth, or history that we can connect with, and the spiritual energy behind their story can help guide us on our journey through life.
Seek your personal hero through meditation. Sit quietly and meditate, visualizing a mirror before you. Step through it, into a room of people. Announce that you're looking for a kindred spirit, your patron hero. The host leads you to a table where a figure sits, with back toward you. When you take a seat, and you discover your personal hero is waiting for you, talk with him or her for a while. When you are ready, thank your hero and step back through the mirror. When you arise from your meditation, do more research on your hero and discover what secrets he or she has for you.
