Allow yourself a generous amount of uninterrupted time. Gather up a small blue candle, your favorite incense, a sheet of nice paper, and a pen or pencil you truly enjoy writing with. Settle yourself in a comfortable place for writing. Prepare for reflection and meditation in your usual manner. Light the candle and incense. Focus your mind on your creativity, whatever it may be. (There is creativity in all of us in some form.) As your mind cycles through your creative processes, note upon the paper what it is your creativity gives to you. Write down the creative things you are generating, and also write down thoughts about future creative endeavors. Keep your thoughts positive; the inner critic has no voice here. Let your dreams generate themselves on the paper in whatever way comes naturally. When you feel you are done reflecting, place the paper in a secure place where you see it often to remind you of your creative soul. |
