Incense of the day: Evergreen For best results, perform this spell sitting before the evening fire or a red candle. You'll need two pieces of red yarn, each about a foot long. Also have on hand a pinch each of ginger and cinnamon, and one red envelope. Hold the pieces of yarn as you think about the love you're seeking coming into your life. Slowly begin to braid the pieces of yarn together as you say: With this yarn I entwine; love hot as fire, be mine. Lay the yarn aside. On the envelope draw a heart surrounded by flames. Sprinkle the spices into the envelope, then add the yarn and seal. Hide this magical bundle in a secret place. After the spell has completed its work, build a fire. As the flames begin to grow, cast the unopened envelope into the flames. This serves to "feed" the fire, and also thanks the fire elementals for their help. |
