Spell: Autumn Garden Blessing

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Topaz
Incense of the day: Evergreen

The autumn months are the perfect time to add to your gardens. Take a moment and bless your crocus, tulip, hyacinth, and daffodil bulbs as you tuck them in the garden this autumn. A general rule of thumb is to plant the bulb two to three times deeper than the length of the bulb itself, and if you can't distinguish between top and bottom, just plant the bulb on its side: the shoots will instinctively grow to the sun. Dig your holes and set the bulbs. As you go to cover them back up, tap the soil three times with your dominant hand and repeat this charm.

Planted deep in autumn, to shoot forth in spring,
Beauty, joy, and enchantment these bulbs will bring.
Now sleep the winter away and store your energy well,
Next spring you'll grow both tall and true, all from this autumn spell.
