Our relationship choices are like mirrors. They reflect what we
project to the world, and they reflect what we would like to keep hidden.
In other words, for good or for bad, relationship choices show us our unconscious needs, wants, and wounds. To contact your hidden emotional needs and wounds (especially if you repeatedly find yourself in abusive or unfulfilling relationships), gaze into your own eyes in a sage-smudged mirror. State these or similar words:
on the wall,
Unveil my compulsions,
One and all.
Look past your physical features into your unconscious to the needs, the wants, and the wounds that lie behind the surface. Make changes in your life, and in your relationship choices, based on what you learn.
