In the O.T.O., the preliminary or 0 degree of the Order. Part of the third or "Man of Earth" Triad. In this degree, people are not full members. Instead, they're considered "honored guests" of the Order. This degree gives the Minerval a chance to see if he or she should become a full member, and it lets full members decide if the Minerval is ready to become a full member.
