Richard Shoup of the Boundary Institute believes “we are surrounded by backward-acting influences, in which the future causes the present. The reason we don’t see most of these backward-caused effects is that they are often small and subtle, and because we are looking in the wrong places for them.” (Quoted in Dossey, The Power of Premonition.) We have to be attentive and expand our awareness, and above all we must want to know the future and give them a means to show themselves through our psychic tools.
