Witchy Yuletide Gifts

Color of the day:  Orange
Incense of the day:  Juniper

Giving holiday gifts to your magical friends is fun because you can pack so much meaning and magic into them. These ornaments are inexpensive, personalized, and powerful. You can make each one to match the recipient's desires and needs.

This is the recipe for a protection ornament, but with a little googling you can make one for love, prosperity, health, or anything you can imagine. Gather these materials:

  • Chalk
  • A 1-inch square of black paper
  • 5 inches of black thread
  • An empty fillable ball ornament, available at craft stores
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon frankincense
  • 1 tablespoon juniper berries
  • A small black tourmaline crystal

Using the chalk, draw a picture of a pentagram (or any symbol that is protective to you) on the black paper. Roll it up and secure it with the thread, like a tiny scroll. Place this paper along with the other materials inside the ornament ball. It's ready to be gifted. You might want to include a note explaining the meaning of the ornament.

Years from now, every time the recipient hangs the ornament during the holidays, they'll be reminded of your well wishes.
