Your doctor will tell you how to prepare physically for elective surgery. To prepare yourself mentally and emotionally, however, try this visualization before surgery. First, calm yourself with a few drops of marjoram, grapefruit, and chamomile oil in a diffuser. Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and count down from ten to one. Visualize the positive result of the operation. Then visualize your doctor, the hospital, the surgical instruments, and so on, and bless each of them in the name of the goddess Hygea. Imagine anointing them with protection oil. Next, "see" the procedure being performed with success. Then count from one to ten and open your eyes. Repeat until you can do this visualization without feeling undue anxiety about the operation.
