Staple Spell

Color of the day:  Black
Incense of the day:  Ivy

Staples are magic! Most staples are
made of zinc and steel. Zinc can
be used for protection and invisibility,
and steel for endurance—a perfect
shield!
What information do you want to
keep safe? Write it down on a piece of
paper, then fold the paper in half and
then in half again (four quarters, four
for stability). Staple it all around as
you say these words:
What’s written within
Is only for me.
All others stay out.
So mote it be!
Burn the paper safely in a fireproof
dish. When the embers have died and
the ashes are cool, bury them and the
staples to hide your secrets from prying
eyes.
