Color of the day: White
Incense of the day: Marjoram
On this day in 1978, Pluto’s moon Charon was discovered, so this is a good time to honor that archetype. In Greek and Roman mythology, Charon is the ferryman of the dead to whom souls paid a coin for passage into the next life.
What’s next for you? Find a penny—with this year’s date on it, if possible—and cleanse it with salt and water. If you can, pass it through the smoke of jasmine incense (which is good for dreaming). Place the coin under your bed (or between your mattress and box spring or in your pillowcase) with these words:
I’ve paid the toll. Show me what’s next.
Keep a journal by your bed so you can record what Charon reveals to you in your dreams.
