LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

A Diverse Magical Community

Color of the day:  Pink
Incense of the day:  Yarrow

Throughout Canada, Australia, and the United States, June is celebrated as Pride Month, honoring members of the LBGTQ2 communities and recognizing the Stonewall rebellion of 1969, which resulted in recognition of gay rights under the law in the US.

Today, do a small diversity spell, drawing in the spirit element, building pride and acceptance in your community, and affirming your diverse magical community.

Gather seven small items, each of a different color, thinking of seven people in your community of different ages, genders, ethnicities, cultures, orientations, and occupations.

Place these totems on your altar, circled around a candle of any color. As you safely light the candle, whisper:

Every one of you is welcome,
different, unique, and bright.
Every one of you is perfect,
different, unique, and right.
Come together in diversity.
Come together including me.
Come together that we can be
A diverse magical community.
So mote it be.

Be sure to extinguish the candle.
