POSTED UNDER Air, Spring, Wind, AND MORE

Blow Out the Old

Color of the day:  Maroon
Incense of the day:  Bayberry

Spring is finally in the air, both literally and figuratively. If you open your window, you can probably smell a new freshness and hear the birds changing from their winter songs to the ones they sing in the spring. Depending on where you live, there may be the scent of flowers growing. Even in the city, the air will smell cleaner and you will sense the potential for growth and new beginnings. Throw open a window—or all of them—and use a small hand fan or scarf to waft the air over you. As you do so, say:

Spring air, so fresh and clean,
Blow away the cobwebs of winter.
Clear my mind and spirit.
Bring in your energy for new growth
And the potential for positive change.
Thank you, air, for all
you carry with you
And for all you carry away!
Blessed be, O power of air.
