Full Moon

Color of the day:  Gray
Incense of the day:  Cinnamon

As stated in Doreen Valiente’s classic Wiccan Rede, “When the moon rides at her peak, then your heart’s desire seek.”

Now that the sun is beginning to return to earth following the winter solstice, it’s a good time to weave your wishes into reality. If you live in a snowy or cold area of the world, it may feel like the sun will never return. But have no fear: the seasons always change, and we grow both older and wiser with the passing of each year.

In many cultures, the moon represents that subtle internal wisdom that keeps families, communities, and homes tied together with a loving bond. Considering these aspects in your own life, weave your wishes for the year by writing these goals on a small, smooth wooden log or board.

In the spirit of a Yule log, safely kindle a fire and set the log alight while performing any additional magick for these goals that you see fit. You may even wish to make this a crafty project for the whole family or coven!
