A quick and delicious means for gaining a bit of magical protection is to empower some popcorn kernels with protection energy and then pop them and eat the snack. Air-popped corn is preferred, but in a pinch, microwave popcorn will do.

To empower the kernels, hold them in your hands (or hold the microwave packet) and say:
