POSTED UNDER Autumn, Summer

September Song

Color of the day:  Red
Incense of the day:  Ylang-Ylang

By mid-September it’s becoming obvious in most of the US that the seasons are changing. We’re moving out of summer’s heat and into autumn’s welcome cool. Let’s celebrate the change of seasons. We can also acknowledge new changes we foresee coming into our lives. Let’s celebrate them, too.

Alone or with your coven, state your intention to welcome change. Decorate an autumnal altar with leaves, a few pinches of cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla, and a geode in each direction. Lay Tarot card III, the Empress (aka, the Great Goddess), in the center, then draw a personal card. After reading your personal card, sing this beautiful chant by Starhawk:

She changes everything She touches,
and everything She touches changes.

Sing it as a round. Add harmonies. There are long versions (with verses) on YouTube. Learn and sing them. The singing is the working of this spell. You’re singing change into manifestation.
