Honoring Pachamama Prayer

Color of the day:  Crimson
Incense of the day:  Carnation
 
Pachamama is the Andean Mama Earth, and is the strong and nurturing force that helps and protects fertility, abundance, women, the feminine, generosity, and ripening crops.

To honor Pachamama you need a small handful of earth, held cupped in both hands. Say:

"Pachamama, I honor you.
I pledge to protect and preserve you.
I promise to heal and help you.
I will never abandon you."

Rub earth into each palm and say:
"Pachamama, guide my hands that
I may work in your service."

Rub earth on your forehead and say:
"Guide my head that I make
good decisions to help you."

Rub earth on the sole of each foot and say:
"Guide my feet that I may
walk lightly with you."

Rub earth over your heart and say:
"And guide my heart that I might
always love and serve you."

Pray to Mama Earth frequently,
renewing your pledge to help and
protect her.
