Is anything more magical than flying? Though Icarus tried it, modern people had to invent the airplane. But we can fly in our imagination! Using visualization, we can fly to celebrate sabbats and do magic with other circles and covens, or we can go online and "fly" to a website for a web-wide ritual. When you want to fly, speak this invocation (apologies to Percy Bysshe Shelley):

"Hail to thee, blithe flyer,
Higher still and higher
From the earth thou springest
Like a cloud of fire:
The blue deep thou wingest,
And singing still dost soar,
and soaring ever singest."

In these days of climate change and increased pollution, the multitudes of winged species need our protection. We've all read how honeybees are dying. Sign petitions addressed to manufacturers and stores asking them to stop making and selling pesticides containing neonicotinoids, and plant flowers that attract our winged friends.
