If we want to leave behind the doldrums of winter and surpass the storms of spring, we have to look to the sweet promise of summer. This spell is sure to bring the name of Pan to your lips all season as you revel in the unbridled glory and light of regeneration. Find a private, sunny location and place a one-pound container of honey on top of a gold ring or amulet. Clap and slap the earth rhythmically as you chant:

"IAO Pan!"

Be sure to act like a kid: roll all around, gesticulating your jazz hands enthusiastically to consecrate the honey with vigorous solar energy. While you perform this wild celebration of spring, charge the honey with life in the golden and glowing light of the day. Revel in the light with wild abandon. Draw the spirit of the wildwood to bless your enchanted honey with radiance as you cry out:

"O, god of nature!"
