Caregiver Appreciation Day

Color of the day:  Yellow
Incense of the day:  Marigold

Many people look after those who are sick, disabled, or elderly. Maybe you or your loved ones have benefited from them, or will in the future. Today is Caregiver Appreciation Day, a good time to honor them and their hard work.

This is an altar spell, so you'll need your altar, a small green candle in a safe glass, and a source of fire. You also need an image of your favorite healing deity. Cast a circle, light the candle, and invoke your patron of healing. State your intent to honor caregivers. Focus on the candle and recall occasions when someone has looked after you or those you love. Send some energy into the light. Ask your healing patron to direct the energy to the caregivers who need it most. Thank them for their contributions.

After you finish, release the deity and the circle. Allow the candle to burn out safely.
