What Makes You Happy

Incense of the day:  Clove
 
Stop all your busyness for a few minutes and think about what makes you happy. Finding your favorite chocolate chip cookies on sale? Getting your device to work without making you crazy? Having a civilized conversation with an annoying person in which you began to "tame" them like the Fox tamed the Little Prince? Gazing at your laundry basket filled with clean, folded clothes and realizing you'll have clean clothes for a week or longer?

This may be the simplest spell you'll ever do. Visualize a circle with yourself and what makes you happy in the center. Open your arms as for a big hug. Visualize giving that hug to what makes you happy, whether it's concrete or abstract. Say out loud and with great enthusiasm:

"Thank you, Goddess!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
