Herbal Protection Amulet

Color of the day:  Red
Incense of the day:  Bayberry

To make a protection amulet using herbs, gather one acorn and a pinch of as many of the following herbs as you can: parsley, basil, cedar, sage, and valerian. Place the items in a small white or red drawstring bag (or sew your own bundle). Place the amulet in a circle of white tealights and, as the candles are burning, visualize your specific protection needs. Chant:

"I ask these plants with much respect
to guard, defend me and protect-
keep harm away, ill will at bay,
let misfortune hold no sway."

When all the candles have burned out safely, remove the amulet and carry it with you.
