Apple Self-Acceptance Meditation

Friday's planetary ruler is Venus. Venus of course is known for its resonance with love energy and magick. Apples are also ruled by Venus and are quite a seasonal favorite. Love is more than romantic love; it is the love that is self-acceptance as well.

Today, find an apple. Make the choosing process part of the magick. Find one that you find beautiful, realizing that imperfections do not dilute beauty. Once you have found an apple you resonate with, put it on your altar and meditate while gazing upon it. Notice that even with imperfections, it has its own beauty, without and within. Its appearance, how it was created, and everything about it is simply magickal and beautiful. Look closely at it. Notice that even where it looks perfect there are imperfections, perhaps perfect imperfections. Know that you, even if imperfect, are beautiful just like the apple.
