Inspirational Incense

If you're ever feeling a bit stuck in a creative block, grab a stick of your favorite incense and head outdoors. Light the tip and, when you blow out the flame, focus on the element of air within you (the breath) and all around you (the breeze).

Focus intently on the rising smoke while you ask for inspirational energy by saying this rhyme:

"Great and spritely air spirits
who swiftly wax and wane,
release my mental blockages so
creativity may flow again!"

Offer the incense to the spirits of air and to your own spirit guides and guardians.

Repeat the rhyme in your mind or out loud a number of times. Take the incense inside and situate it in the location where you're most creative. As it burns, visualize yourself jumping through a brick wall with the word "blockage" scrawled on it with spray paint. See yourself jumping safely through, shattering the wall and glowing with reinvigorated creativity.
