When a friend of yours has a birthday, give them a spell along with their gift. First think about what this friend means to you. Think about things you've done together. Give your friend a birthday agate.

Look online or in a book for information about the magical properties of stones to determine which kind of agate is best for this friend. The energies of agates include longevity, healing, and protection. For your friend's birthday, select a gorgeous agate. Holding the agate, visualize your friend. See your friend as healthy, productive, and happy. Say:

"Hinkety, pinkety, play,
Today's (friend's name's) natal day!
Good health I send (him/her)
And happy life.
Hinkety, pinkety, plurn,
Happy solar return!"

Give the agate to your friend and teach them the spell so they can pay it forward.
