New Moon Cleansing Bath

The new moon is a lovely time for cleansings and new beginnings. This spell will set you up for both. There's no better way to start a new moon cycle than with an energetically fresh and clean slate! If you've been in a funk, think of this as a bit of a reset.

Make yourself a simple bath salt scrub by gathering a cup of sea salt, a couple tablespoons of lavender buds, and two to four drops of lavender oil. Combine and mix thoroughly, then put into a small jar. Empower and charge the mixture as you see fit on your altar. Now, use as a scrub or soak in the shower or bath, and envision all the muck of the recent past going down the drain. You can chant the following as you cleanse with the bath salts:

"By salt I cleanse and clear,
With lavender I calm and refresh.
When the lunar cycle is new,
So may it be a new start for me too.
Blessed be."
