New Beginnings Spell

Color of the day:  Black
Incense of the day:  Magnolia

Have you ever heard the saying "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end"? Sometimes it's hard to let go of what's holding us back, even when we know it's what's best for us. What kind of new beginning are you looking at? A new job? Maybe a move to another city? How about letting go of a bad habit for a healthier you?

The new moon is the perfect time to embrace change! For this spell you will need a black candle, a seed, and a small terracotta pot with dirt.

Light the black candle to represent what you are releasing. It could be an unsatisfying job or an unhealthy lifestyle. Focus on letting go. Snuff out the candle, releasing your old life.

Take the seed and plant it in the pot. Focus on the growth of your new beginning. Visualize yourself healthier and happier. Say a few positive affirmations to close.
