Strength and Courage Spell

Some days you need a boost of strength and courage. That's okay. We all do from time to time, whether we show it outwardly or not.

For this spell, gather the following three items: a polished piece of bloodstone, an image of the Strength card from the tarot, and a white candle. Bloodstone vibrates with the energy of courage, which pairs nicely with the type of strength symbolized by the Strength card. We need not always exert brute force to be strong. We can use our will, compassion, and intellect to exert our strength.

Place the image of the Strength card upon your altar, with the candle and bloodstone atop it. Light the candle and visualize the bloodstone absorbing both the courageous light of the candle and the strength of the card. Carry the bloodstone with you.
