When It's Time to Let Go

Color of the day:  Green
Incense of the day:  Nutmeg

Every Pagan knows that the only constant on the planet is change. Everything evolves and revolves, but sometimes we don't want to ride along. That's when it's time to say, "I'm done." We do not, however, need to turn this affirmation into a Greek tragedy or a grand opera. Just make a simple statement:

"I'm done."

Say it out loud. Say what you're done with. If a relationship or friendship has turned sour, say:

"I'm done with (name of person)."

If a project doesn't work anymore, say:

"I'm done with this work."

Say it as a simple declarative sentence. When what you're done with pops back into your mind, say the statement again. Say it as often as necessary until the words seep into your mind and heart.

"I'm done with this.
So mote it be."
