A new moon is a time of new beginnings and invites us to set intentions that will grow as the moon swells to full on December 3rd. Today's new moon is in the fixed water sign of Scorpio, the sign of bonding, control, and intensity. It is a powerful spiritual and sexual energy, transformative in nature. Scorpio is passionate, perceptive, and focused, so let's set an intention for self-mastery. Where are your passions, and which of them needs focus? Set an intention there, such as:

"I love to write poetry and want
to devote more time to it."

Make your intention SMART-specific, measurable, achievable, results-focused, and time-bound:

"I will write poetry, longhand, after
breakfast, one page a day, so that by
the full moon I will have fifteen pages,
or fifteen poems in total."

Now get to work and manifest what you have set out to create.
